My Doves

My doves are lovingly cared for. They are afforded spacious accommodation, good food to keep them in peak condition and regular training to ensure they are fit and able to easily cover the distances required. Most importantly of all, they are ensured a natural quality of life, allowed to fly free from their loft in the garden everyday. They have become a local spectacle! Doves will naturally return to the same loft to roost at night, they nest there and live among the same flock, for the whole of their lives. They also love to fly! so allowing them free access to come and go allows them to live a natural life. They are closed in at night to protect them from any predators.

how do the birds arrive at a release? is it stessful for them?

The doves are always transported in individual specialist bird boxes, they are safe and dark so causing little stress to the birds.

Will the doves make a mess?

On "Dove Release days," the doves food and water are limited so there is no need to worry that the doves will 'have an accident' at an inappropriate moment!
