About Heavens a Dove
We are a small team, mainly just me and the doves. The doves are my pets, not all have names but are known individually and whilst maybe I shouldn’t, I do have my favourites! My flock of doves has flown together for around 15 years, founded by Sue the original owner. Since retiring, 4 years ago, Sue has taken a back seat, still on hand but has handed the reins over along with her extensive knowledge and passion. I have gained much experience with these beautiful doves, from working alongside Sue and from simply spending time with them, they continue to fascinate me! A knowledgeable handler is a vital part of every release. A stunning white Heavens A Dove release does not happen by accident, although we do make it look easy! An appropriately dressed handler, usually me, will bring the doves to your venue in decorated release baskets or/and cages, guide you and help coordinate the release with your photographer and/or videographer so they can get the best possible pictures. While there are probably hundreds of companies that provide white dove releases for weddings, funerals and memorials throughout the UK, a few stand out and I would like to consider Heavens a Dove as one amongst them.
